Using AI wisely does not require becoming a technologist or waiting for someone else to write the rules. It starts with the choices we make every time we reach for AI.
PAUSE
Before reaching for AI, ask:
Do I actually need it?
Sometimes the most valuable thing we can do is think, wrestle with an idea, or solve the problem ourselves.
PROMPT
Better preparation creates better results. Know what you need, gather the right context, and give AI a clear, complete request the first time.
REVIEW
AI can generate. Humans remain accountable. Check what it gives you for accuracy, appropriateness, bias, privacy, safety, and judgment.
REUSE
If something is useful, save it. Good prompts, research, templates, answers, and approved content should not have to be regenerated every time.
The framework is simple on purpose. The goal is not to make AI harder to use. It is to put a moment of intention between “I can use AI” and “I should use AI.”
